Debra Bursik has more than 25 years of experience in investigating and researching civil and criminal cases. She is a licensed private detective in the State of Wisconsin and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point in business administration and a Master of Arts degree in criminal justice from Washington State University.
In the spring of 2007, she was appointed by Chief Justice Shirley S. Abrahamson of the Wisconsin Supreme Court to be a member of one of the Office of Lawyer Regulation’s District Investigative Committees and held that position for 9 years.
Previously having worked in-house for law firms, she founded Bay Investigation and Litigation Services, Inc. in January 2002 and runs a successful practice specializing in investigating criminal defense and civil litigation cases. She has handled many high profile cases.
She has been an active speaker at seminars for the Wisconsin Association for Justice and has written several articles on investigation.
